  1. Great running magazine for female runners! Even though I subscribe to Runner’s World, too, I like that Women’s Running is geared to women. It includes some specifics in every issue to women that RW doesn’t cover. For example, a recent issue included self-dense maneuvers that women could use if accosted. It also included exercises on how to strengthen the pelvic floor. If you’re a female and want to run or are a seasoned runner, this is definitely worth the time to read. It feels more personable than RW because it IS geared to female runners – of all levels. It seems to be less intimidating to beginning female runners than RW might be. If I had to choose between the two, I think I’d choose Women’s Running.

  2. A great read for runners of all abilities! Women’s Running Magazine is a great publication for any runner! It’s filled with tons of information on training, gear, clothing and fuel but also packed with personal essays and motivating and inspiring stories from other runners. A must read every month!

  3. New runner friendly. I’m new to running and I recently gave birth. I find this magazine to be super helpful, motivating, and even educational. I normally prefer books over magazines as I tend to not read them, but I devoured two issues of Women’s Running in a matter of weeks. I’m so enjoying it that I have subscribed to the print version. Can’t wait to get more! This magazine reminds me that I have support as I hit the pavement with or without my 4 month old.
